This workshop meets both the NEW requirements for RECertification as a CPC and the NEW requirements for Recertification .
As well, it will update all individuals in the counseling profession on the new law and new changes to the rules towards full licensure.
Due to the nature and importance of the information included, this workshop will only be held in-person. THERE IS NO VIRTUAL OPTION!
An emphasis will be placed on understanding how to assist supervisees who are following the old law or the new law and the differences between the two; As well, it will cover the new rules that apply to the law passed in July of 2022.
The goal is to provide a competence in understanding the law and assisting supervisees to meet all requirements toward full licensure.
It will include possible upcoming changes that are taking place for the compact. A review of the ethical responsibilities of Clinical Supervisors. AND GET TIPS TO PASS THE EXAM!

Presenter: Carolyn A. Ramp, LPC, NCC, ACS, CPCS
Carolyn Ramp’s career in mental health spans over 30 years. Her experience includes outpatient clinical work in agencies, school systems, as well as building and managing a multi-specialty private practice of 18 therapists. She’s earned a master’s degree in 1993 and A Specialist’s Degree in Counseling in 2000. She was President of LPCAGA in 2019 -2020. Her specialties include Clinical Supervision for over 20 years, working with the families of the Personality Disordered, teaching parenting strategies as a Love and Logic Facilitator and she is a Certified Grief Recovery Specialist. She currently works with LifeStance Health as a Clinical Lead.
